OSAN - EKITI CHURCH

THE HISTORY OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, OSAN EKITI
Seventh-Day Adventist Church Osan Ekiti started on the 16th of August, 2006 through door-to-door visitation by Late Elder J. A. Atejioye, Elder Samuel Ajayi (Asunmatikun), Elder M. O. Fadare, Elder S. A. Adolapo and Mrs. Atejioye etc. After the visitation, Pastor D. O. Onifade conducted a two week public outreach and at the end of the crusade 14 souls joined the church. The first convert to the church was Late Mr. Michael Adebayo Adeleke, while others joined thereafter. However, Mr. Oluwole Aina from Oke Ile Orangun and Late Mrs. Susan Adunola were part of those members who had Adventist background.
This helped to motivate the members living in the Area to start a fellowship center at Pa Adebayo Aribaba’s building along Ora road.
It was this house the church used for worship until they moved to their lamb shelter. The first pioneering leader was Elder C. Awosanmi followed by Mr. Seun Afolayan.
